Privacy Policy
What we collect. Information you submit through forms on this site (name, contact information, incident involvement, language preference, and anything you write in a message field); standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested); and privacy-respecting, cookieless site analytics that do not identify you.
How we use it. To respond to your request, operate and secure the site, and understand aggregate usage. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Who we share it with. If you submit the report-assistance form, your submission is shared with ME Lawyers, APLC as described in the disclosure shown on that form. Removal, correction, and contact requests go to the site's operations team. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except as required by law.
Retention. Form submissions are kept as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations. Server logs rotate on a short schedule.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may request: (1) disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you; (2) deletion of your personal information; (3) correction of inaccurate personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so no opt-out is required. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@crashguide.org with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We will verify your request using the contact information associated with your submission and respond within the timeframe required by law.
